Theatre Columbus is supported by the government, foundations, individuals and private companies. All donations from the private sector are invested with the Ontario Arts Endowment Fund, where each donation is matched on a “dollar for dollar” basis. This is invested in perpetuity for Theatre Columbus, from which we receive income annually towards our ongoing operations.

Its principal support comes from the Canada Council, the Ontario Arts Council and the Toronto Arts Council.

The foundations which support the company are the John McKellar Charitable Foundation, the Laidlaw Foundation and the Norman and Margaret Jewison Charitable Foundation, while the private companies include BeeVision productions, CB Richard Ellis, The Casual Way, Intrinsic Management and ScotiaMcLeod.
