The setting is a resort in the Canadian wilds. An assortment of quirky guests, from a self-conscious young woman (Tracey Wright), her wacky aunts - a sexually repressed anthropologist (Martha Ross) and earthy mystic (Leah Cherniak), a new-age doctor (Don McKellar) to the proprietor, a fly-bitten woodsman (Michael Simpson). The pivotal character is a fading lounge lizard, attempting to re-vive his career, played by Diego Matamoros.
