Melancholia
"Melancholia captures the essence of clowning's anarchic spirit and injects its innocent exuberance into a script with a distinct plot."
- Henry Mietkiewicz, Toronto Star

Melancholia is the story of an wayward angel who makes a crash-landing onto a construction site on earth. To her dismay, she has lost her ability to fly back to heaven and has no memory of terrestrial customs! The numerous humans she encounters offer little help and add to her confusion and despair. The four actors play a variety of eccentric characters; people struggling with their own failures, disillusionment and vulnerability. Through a series of madcap adventures, the angel and the other characters inadvertantly gain renewed vitality.
